Tis the season for everything pumpkin spice! Crock-tober, term for October, means it's time to break out my Crock Pot to make this creamy and delicious Crock Pot Pumpkin Hot Chocolate! Everyone loves to have a cup of this hot chocolate at Halloween and Thanksgiving where I always serve it. You can even spike this to make it an adult cocktail.
Once September hits I'm all about the Pumpkin Spice. However, I live in Phoenix so hot chocolate is out of the question until the end of October. I love when there is a chill in the air and I can put on sweater and pour a cup of this Crock Pot Pumpkin Hot Chocolate. When my six year old son had the first sip of this he said this was the best thing I ever made, hahaha!

Swap Semi-Sweet Chocolate for White Chocolate in Crock Pot Pumpkin Hot Chocolate?
Absolutely, Semi-Sweet or Milk Chocolate will work just as well! I just like that using white chocolate instead to have a fun twist on the traditional hot chocolate. Semi-sweet milk chocolate is not as sweet as white chocolate so you may want to add a tablespoon of sugar as well if you want to have the same sweetness.
I do recommend to use the high quality chocolate, like these Ghirardelli White Chocolate, no matter what you use! It really does make a difference in the end result.
